Civil Aviations Organizations in Nigeria

The Air transport subsystem is administered and managed by the following bodies in Nigeria.

• Federal Ministry of Aviation, Abuja - Administration of Government Policies in Aviation
• Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Lagos - Ensuring Air Navigation Safety and economic regulatory services
• Federal Airport's Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Lagos - Managing and maintenance of Airports and associated facilities for the safety and reliability of flight operations.
• Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) Lagos – Provision of efficient airspace management services and maintaining economical air navigational systems.
• Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria - Training the required manpower in the air transport industry with ICAO approved standards.
